Light Beer

MALT: Mashed from 50% German Moravian Pilsner malt, and 50% German Munich malt, for a full-flavored, malty character. This dark golden malt extract is ideal for Vienna and Munich style lagers and alt beers, or any beer requiring an authentic German maltiness.

Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.108 3 gallons
8 lb. Williams: GERMAN GOLD EXTRACT
Hops: 4 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Nottingham 22 grams:A yeast which produces a fairly neutral flavor profile for dry yeast. Very similar to Windsor Ale Yeast, although our recent dry yeast comparison tests have consistently proven this one to produce a cleaner flavored ale than Windsor Ale Yeast.

Medium to high flocculation, attenuation: 73-77%. 11 gram packet is good for pitching 5 gallons.
