Lone Coyote Amber IPA
This is one of my favorite brews.
I have made it several times and it always turns out very nice.

Water: | I have pretty good tap water so I use it. There is no bad taste left in the beer. If you have bad brewing water then I would use bottled or filtered water. |

Grain: | 4 lb. 8 oz. American 2-row 5 lb. German Vienna 1 lb. 8 oz. Belgian aromatic 1 lb. 8 oz. American crystal 60L 1 lb. 8 oz. American crystal 80L 2 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils) |

Mash: | 75% efficiency | |||||||
Mash in with 4 gallons of water at 155°. Let it sit for 90 minutes.(I do between 60 to 90 Mins, depends on how I feel.) Sparge with 4.5 gallons of water at 180° |

Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.061 | 7 gallons | |||||
Irish Moss last 15 minutes of the boil. | ||||||||
Hops: | 3 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 45 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.) 1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Cascade (aroma) 1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma) |

Yeast: | White Labs WLP 001 I make a starter 1 day before brewing, or I rack it on a yeast cake of the same yeast. |

Log: | After one week in primary, I rack over to secondary and dry hop with 2oz. of Cascade. I leave it in secondary at least two weeks. | |||||||
Carbonation: | I force carbonate in a keg. So use whatever method you like. | |||||||
Tasting: | This beer has a very nice mix of malty taste along with a nice hoppy taste. You can really taste each part of this brew. |
