Grampy's Oatmeal Stout
This was my first entry into a homebrew competition and it did very well taking third place. I was very pleased at least!
One of the judges described it as "A meal in a bottle".

Mashed grains in 6 quarts of water at 154 degrees F until conversion, approximately 60 minutes. Sparge with 3 gallons 170 degree F water. |

Tasting: | For a little more body and color I will add 3 more ounces of biscuit malt and 2 more ounces of roast barley next time. This was a very good stout for the cool fall months. |
