Bitterness: 31 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 10L
8 oz. Flaked corn
Steep: Steep grains in 2 gal. water at 160° for 30 min. Rinse grains with 2 quarts warm water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.112 2.5 gallons
3 lb. 5 oz. Light malt extract
3 lb. Light dry malt extract
Add extracts and bring to boil. Follow hop schedule adding Irish moss at last 15 minutes.
Hops: 1.0 oz. Northern Brewer (8.1% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Northern Brewer (8.1% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6.3% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6.3% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: I used Muntons dry ale yeast.
