Boil: 40 minutes SG 1.050 4.5 gallons
3 lb. 3 oz. Northewstern Gold
1 lb. 1 oz. Muntons Extra light
2 lb. Rice extract
I brought 4.5 gallons of water to 200° before removing from heat and added the malt, mixing well before returning to the heat.
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (4.5% AA, 40 min.)
Yeast: WYEAST 2007 PILSEN LAGER 08APR08 Pitched at 68°
Log: 07/06/08 Added the hops at 210° to avoid boil-over. The boil began two minutes later and I began timing the 40 minute boil.
