This is a bunch of shit i got atthe brew store kind like DFH iba clone but with more malt and a bigger grain bill not as dark ..amber to nut brown color strong beer 8.5% est. will update when finished

Yeast: | 1272 amer.ale II starter at 2L. for 48 hrs 200gm. light D.M.E to 2L. water boil 10 min cool to 70 deg. | |||||||
Log: | starter 1/4/09 brewed 1/07/09 sg @ 90degs 1.079 cooled til 68 deg pitched starter had to much so overflow went into a growler used for starter see if i get any thing out of it ... smelled to good to toss ... a littke darker than i intented more of amber to nut brown color ...will update as brew finishes | |||||||

Tasting: | still to come brewed 1-7-09 WOW! wonderfull hoppy and fn strong drank some on super bowl sundy got me twisted... good keeper very nice ....reserved a six in the wine clave. |
