A simple, straightforward tripel brewed to BJCP specs.

Bitterness: 38 IBU
OG: 1.078 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 8.1% v/v (6.4% w/w)
Water: R.O. water, no treatments.
Grain: 11.5 lb. Belgian Pilsner
6 oz. Wheat malt
8 oz. Belgian aromatic
Mash: 76% efficiency
148*F for 60 minutes, 10 minute mashout at 168*F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.057 7.5 gallons
1 lb. 12 oz. Belgian candi sugar
Whirfloc tab added at 5 minutes, 1/2 tsp Wyeast yeast nutrient added at 5 minutes.
Hops: 1.1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Saaz (2% AA, 20 min.)
Yeast: WLP 550.
