Log: | Estimated brew date:late June. Actual brew date:June 19, Fathers day. Two boilovers. Still hit the OG on the head. Already some activity 9 hours after pitching. 6/28/11 checked gravity. 1.022 @67F. Not as far along as I would like. I will move the fermenter to a warmer room tomorrow. There was still noticable yeast activity on top of the beer. The taste and aroma are great. Once gravity bottoms out at around 1.014 I will add two ounces of dry hop Centenials. And wait to keg. 7/3/11 Gravity reading of 1.012 @ 75F which equates to 1.014 @60F. Added 2oz of Centenial pellets. 7/22/11 Kegged and primed with 1/2 cup table sugar boiled in water. Smell and taste were both incredible! Drinking this by Labor Day! PS moving the fermenter to a warmer room helped. FG was hit. |
