Steep: | Roasted 1.5 Lbs Quick Oats at 450 Deg. F for 1 hr. Steep in grain bag @ 150 - 170 Deg. F for 20-30 min. |

3 lb. 3 oz. Amber malt extract 3 lb. 3 oz. Dark malt extract 1 lb. Brown sugar 12 oz. Maple syrup |

add 1 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted, last 10 minutes of boil. | ||||||||
Hops: | 2 oz. Perle (7.7% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.) |

Yeast: | 2 pkg @ 7g Munton's Dry Ale Yeast rehydrated for 15 Min in 8 oz. warm water 95 deg F. add 4 oz. water w/ 1 Tsp cane sugaer to proof | |||||||
Log: | Primary fermentor for 14 days and then bottle | |||||||
Carbonation: | Prime using 5 oz. corn sugar | |||||||
Tasting: | I'll let you know how it comes out. Plan to brew around 1/21/07 |
