Mash for 90 minutes, single infusion. Add 1.1 qts/lb of 170 F water to strike at 152F. Over mash, dropped to 150F. |

Hops: | 1.5 oz. Northern Brewer (7.9% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Saaz (2.5% AA, 30 min.) 2.5 oz. Saaz (aroma) |

Log: | Ferment at 50F for primary (10 days) then lager for at least 1 month @ 30-35F. | |||||||
Tasting: | This beer came out quite well. It is the brightest beer we've ever had and has a fab-u-lous head as well as a smooth refined lager taste. We've made this exact recipe various times and the final perceived bitterness varies somewhat. Odd. |
