This is my take on Budvar's Bud Super Strong.

Water: | Budvar's water is about 2° hardness. I use two parts distilled water to one part tap for the beer. | |||||||

Mash: | 75% efficiency | |||||||
Triple Decotion Mash with 15 min rests at 98°, 125°, 170°, and 30 minutes at 150°. Mash in at 98°. Pull 40% of the volume (Decotoin) and raise to 125° for 15 minutes, 150° for 15 min and then 160° for 15 min. Bring to a boil for 30 min. Add back to the Mash. Should raise the mash to the next 15 min rest level. Repeat for the remaining mash rest temperatures. For the 150° rest, rest for 30 minutes. Mash out at 170°. |

Log: | I lager this beer for 200 days just like Budvar. Counting fermentation time, this beer takes over seven months start to finish. |
