Color:
11 HCU (~8 SRM)
Bitterness: 6 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.005
Alcohol: 6.2% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. American victory
Steep: keep crushed victory in water (140°) for 1/2 hr.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.264 1 gallons
3.3 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Light dry malt extract
last 10 min add Irish Moss.
Hops: 1.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Knottingham & 1 package california champagne yeast
Log: after 4 days transfer to Secondary ferminter, at day 6 transfer to 3rd ferminter, after 1 - 2 days bottle, and store for 10 days at 60° then place in frig, and enjoy.
Carbonation: when bottled place 1 coopers carb drop and cap.
