English Mild
Nice middle of the road mild. A new low-grav favorite. Drained in 3 hrs at NHC Club Night in Cincinnati.

Tasting: | Was well received at National Homebrew Conference this year. Only ding I got from a Master Level judge was that it was maybe a hair too roasty and that the dark malts tended to add a touch too much bitterness, though he said he was grasping for things, as he returned 4 or 5 times for samples over the night. So to perfect next time, I'm going to cut the chocolate to just 1 oz. and replace w/ carafa II to maintain the color. |
