Piss in a Bottle Brown Ale

70 HCU (~28 SRM)
Bitterness: 16 IBU
OG: 1.051 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 4.8% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: used tap water for 2 1/2 gal boil
used filtered spring water to top off to 5 gal
Grain: 12 oz. American crystal 90L
2 oz. American chocolate
2 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: placed grains in muslin bag and steeped for 30 min at @ 140°F

Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.103 2.5 gallons
3.3 lb. Amber malt extract
3.3 lb. Dark malt extract
1 tsp Irish Moss last 15 min
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028
Made starter using 1/3 cup DME
