Hoppy Hoppy Joy Joy

I am trying to formulate something dark amber, malty and very hoppy.
It would probably make a good Christmas Ale.
It is weird to think Christmas Ale in April...

4 lb. Laaglander Light DME
Hops: 2 oz. Columbus (14% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Columbus (14% AA, 40 min.)
1 oz. Columbus (14% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Columbus (14% AA, 5 min.)
2 oz. Columbus (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028 London Ale(?) or maybe 1272 American Ale II(?)
