Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 60L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
8 oz. American chocolate
2 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: Kept water temp between 150 and 160 degrees and steeped for 30 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.174 2 gallons
3 lb. 3 oz. Light malt extract
3 lb. Amber dry malt extract
1 lb. 12 oz. Honey
Added 0.5 tsp of Irish Moss 45 minutes into the boil
Hops: 1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
.75 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast American Ale II
