This is my Dunkel

This is one of the best beers I have brewed. Strong Chocolate flavor w/ banana aftertaste. I love this beer as a dessert recipe or with slightly spicy food.

Bitterness: 7 IBU
OG: 1.068 FG: 1.025
Alcohol: 5.6% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Grain: 4 oz. American chocolate
4 oz. American black patent
4 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: 30 minutes at 155° to 160°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.098 3.5 gallons
3 lb. Amber malt extract
6 lb. Wheat extract
1/2 tsp Irish Moss at 10 min.
Hops: 0.75 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 3056 Bavarian Wheat Lager Yeast
